The mission, plainly: shine light on the light. See the architecture, the symbolism, and the connections between scripture and the literatures history left out — and be able to ask questions across all of it at once, cited and checkable, not taken on faith.
Divine Data is a body of work: the complete 39-book Old Testament read verse-by-verse through this project's Gnostic and Pistis Sophia lens, the 148-chapter Pistis Sophia translation itself, and the essays and books built on top of them. One standard runs through all of it — every claim is grounded in a source, carries the reference it came from, and is labeled for what kind of statement it is.

The truth standard
Grounded, cited, tier-labeled — across the whole corpus, not just the query tool
The Prime Directive of this project is simple: never fabricate. It governs how the studies are written, not only how the software answers. When you read a page here, you should be able to tell at a glance where a statement came from and how much weight it is asking you to give it.
Cited
The reference travels with the claim — a verse reference, a document path, an artifact id — so you can go check it against the source rather than taking our word for it.
Tier-labeled
A statement is one of three kinds, and it says which. Nothing is styled to look more authoritative than its tier actually is.

This project's Gnostic / Pistis Sophia reading, marked explicitly as our interpretation. Never laundered into fact or into scholarly consensus.
There is no fourth tier. Where sources differ, the variants are shown rather than one being silently chosen; where the corpus does not cover something, that gap is stated rather than filled in.

The same corpus, three doors. Each one tells you plainly what exists today and what does not.
Read
The verse-by-verse studies now cover the whole Protestant Old Testament — all 39 books, Genesis through Malachi, 929 chapters in all, each moving verse by verse with commentary. Alongside them, the full 148-chapter Pistis Sophia translation with a plain-English rendering.
Status: complete and readable. The Pistis Sophia translation and plain-English rendering are public-domain source text and are free forever. The studies open with 197 complete chapters free — the first five of every book, plus one keystone chapter each — before the paid Library tier, and because that rule covers any book of five chapters or fewer, ten of the 39 books are free from front to back: Ruth, Lamentations, Joel, Obadiah, Jonah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Malachi. Search and citation lookup stay free across the whole corpus, gated chapters included.
Ask
Divine Data Answers takes a plain-language question and builds the answer only from the corpus — cited by reference, tier-labeled on every claim, and honestly refusing when the question falls outside what is loaded.
Status: Phase 1 engine built and eval-tested; it runs locally today and is not yet a public web app.
Explore
The work built on top of the studies: The Tower Cycle, ten companion essays following the project's throughline, plus supporting essays and analysis. The Archon Signature, a standalone nonfiction book, is drafted complete and not yet published.
Status: the essays are written and readable; the book is drafted, not yet typeset or released.
There is no listening door yet. Some audio exists — nine of the ten Tower Cycle tracks, and a working draft audiobook of The Archon Signature — but none of it is mastered or distributed as a product, so we are not building a door around it yet.
There is also a fourth door, live today: the Shop sells the Pistis Sophia translation as a finished ebook, with real checkout.
The shelf next door
Beyond the 39 — the literatures history left out
"Shine light on the light" doesn't stop at the Protestant canon. Second Temple Judaism read and wrote a much larger body of scripture and near-scripture than the 39 books most Bibles print — texts that carry the architecture, angelology, and cosmic symbolism the Old Testament study keeps gesturing toward without always having a source to cite. Building that shelf, honestly and clearly labeled as a separate shelf, is Phase B.
1 Enoch
108 chapters, 1,062 verses, fully drafted — the Watchers' fall, named angelology, the astronomical Book of Luminaries, and the Similitudes' Son of Man. Built first because its vocabulary is the substrate the rest of this shelf borrows without re-explaining.
Jubilees, Wisdom of Solomon, Tobit
The rest of Tier 1 — chosen because they're already load-bearing for the existing Old Testament study, not for completeness' sake. Jubilees will force a revision pass on the Genesis study when it lands.
Ten more books
2 Esdras, 2 Maccabees, the Additions to Daniel, and seven more — tiered by how much the lens genuinely has to say about each one, not built all-or-nothing. Full detail in the project's own scope document.
This is a second, clearly labeled shelf, not a silent expansion of the 39-book canon — the project is explicit about which books sit on which shelf and why, per its own scope decision. None of Phase B is loaded into the queryable database yet; what's drafted is drafted, and what isn't built yet is stated as not built, the same honesty rule as everywhere else on this site.

What Divine Data is not
Naming the limits is part of the standard. A corpus that will not say where it stops cannot be checked.

- Not religious authority, prophecy, or personal guidance. It reports what the texts and studies say, tier-labeled. It does not tell you what to believe.
- Not a claim of scholarly consensus. Our interpretive lens is labeled as ours, every time.
- Not exhaustive, and not pretending to be. The queryable corpus today is the 39-book Old Testament plus the Pistis Sophia materials — not "the Bible," and not "all of Gnosticism." There is no New Testament study here yet.
- Actively growing outward. The Old Testament track is complete at 39 books, and Phase B is already underway — building toward 1 Enoch, Jubilees, and the wider Second Temple shelf, clearly labeled as a separate shelf, not a silent canon change.

There is no signup button for the query engine, because there is nothing yet to sign up to — and putting one here would be exactly the kind of thing we have promised not to do. What exists today is the written corpus, a working local query engine holding the grounded-answer contract, and a real ebook store. The source texts are free forever — the Pistis Sophia translation and the modernized scripture are public domain and we do not gate them. The studies are our own writing: 197 complete chapters are free to read — including ten books free end to end — and the remaining 732 will sit behind a paid Library tier. Whole chapters either way, never a paragraph cut off mid-sentence.
